As a family, we are proud of our business and that the hard work we’ve put in since GLR Autocare was set up in 1996, has paid off and we have a garage that is so well respected that we have customers coming from much further afield than Hoddesdon, where our workshop is located.

We have many many repeat customers who have been coming to us for years and that is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team of technicians who treat every vehicle, and every customer, with respect and provide them with top quality workmanship and unbeatable customer service.

We provide a full range of garage services so if your MOT is due, we can sort that for you and not just cars, we have the space to carry out MOT tests for motorcycles and commercial vehicles and motorhomes too. We can also replace your cambelt, or your clutch, we can clean your DPF and even fit towbars, as well as a whole host of other jobs including a comprehensive range of car servicing from Block Exemption servicing to protect your warranty to bespoke servicing for older vehicles. And if you bring your car in for a Full Service before 30/06/2022, we’ll even include your MOT test for free.

We’re easy to find; our workshop is on Essex Road on the outskirts of Hoddesdon, and there’s loads of parking and a good-sized waiting area with Wi-Fi if you want to wait while we work on your car. If you can’t get to us, we do offer a car collection service within the local area.
